Once a fortnight a large envelope arrives in the post, addressed to your child rather than to you. Inside is a letter from Jasper, a well-travelled fox with a great deal to tell them about wherever his latest adventure has taken him.There is something to read, something to make with their hands, and something to keep. There are no logins, no notifications and no next episodes. Instead, this is something genuinely worth slowing down for.
What arrives when Jasper writes.
Each envelope contains a letter from Jasper of around four hundred words, written in English with twelve words from your chosen language woven in naturally throughout.Alongside the letter there are twelve vocabulary cards to cut out and keep, a pocket template to build and add to the scrapbook, a second creative template that changes every month, and two puzzle sheets.Everything inside is designed to be made, kept and added to the scrapbook. Nothing is disposable.By September your child will have a scrapbook they built entirely themselves over the course of the summer, something beautiful, something that was theirs to make at their own pace.Along the way they will have absorbed thirty-six words in a language they love, so naturally woven into Jasper's letters that they couldn't tell you when they learned them, because they were never aware of learning them.
How it works
Choose your language below, complete your order before 2nd July, and we take care of the rest.Each letter is posted at two weekly intervals from late July, arriving just as the holidays begin. Your child checks the letterbox, the letter arrives and their scrapbook grows.
They won't know exactly when it arrives. They will check the letterbox anyway, every day that week. That feeling of something genuinely worth waiting for is rather the point.
